Frequently Asked Questions

1. What driving license do I need to rent the Honda Beat Street 110cc?

You need a valid motorcycle or scooter license from your home country. For long-term stays, we recommend getting a Timor-Leste driving permit or an International Driving Permit (IDP).

2. Is a helmet included in the rental?

Yes, a standard helmet is included for the driver. You can also rent an extra helmet for passengers.

3. Do I need to pay a security deposit?

No, in general we don't require a security deposit for our Motorbikes. There can be exceptions if you will be using the Bike or Car in an unusual way or area.

4. What happens if the bike breaks down?

We offer roadside assistance in Dili and surrounding areas. Just contact our support number, and we’ll take care of it.

5. Is insurance included in the rental?

Full coverage and theft protection is included in the rental price. There is a $300 self coverage fee.

6. Can I rent the bike for a few months?

Absolutely! We offer discounted long-term rental packages for expats, volunteers, and remote workers staying in Dili. If you are thinking of a possible extension of the rental period, please let us know in advance, so we can keep the bike available for you.

7. Is fuel included?

The scooter comes with enough fuel to get started. After that, you are responsible for refueling. Please return it with at least enough fuel to get to the next petrol station.

8. Can I take the scooter outside Dili?

We do not recommend to take this bike outside of Dili, except for areas on the Northern main Road, like Likisa, Manatuto or Baucau. Please be aware that our road assistance ends 10km out of Dili.
